Illegal waste site cleared at port

An illegal waste site in Swansea has been cleared after action by NRW. The waste was supposed to be temporarily stored onsite by two companies before being exported, however much of it was left on site. Following initial legal action by NRW the companies went into liquidation. With no legal avenues left to pursue, NRW turned to the landowner, Associated British Ports for support to clear the site, who agreed to take on responsibility.
